About Us We are a cleantech contractor that provides comprehensive energy efficiency services for energy service companies (ESCOs) and corporate clients. Our services are provided by six specialized units focused on weatherization, water efficiency engineering, lighting, airflow controls, HVAC, and infrastructure solutions. Job Summary ECM Holding Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Business Development Representative to drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing business clients. In this role, you will be calling on Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) throughout the Midwest, Mountain, and Southwestern US, selling ECMu2019s suite of contracting solutions to support their project work as a subcontractor. This is a long-term account acquisition and maintenance role to develop customers that will work with ECM for multiple projects over multiple years. You will be reporting to the VP of Business Development with flexibility to call on customers throughout the Midwest and Western US. Work Schedule: u2022 Remote u2022 Travel: 40-60% u2022 Location preference: near major airport, preference for location in Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, or similar major metro area. #LI-NS1 #ecm Essential Duties & Responsibilities u2022 Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential business clients through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach. u2022 Market Analysis: Research industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to develop effective sales strategies. u2022 Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to foster trust and long-term partnerships. u2022 Solution Selling: Present and promote products/services tailored to client requirements, demonstrating clear value propositions. u2022 Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and finalize agreements to achieve sales targets and ensure client satisfaction. u2022 Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of opportunities and activities using CRM tools, providing timely reports and forecasts. u2022 Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing and Operations to ensure seamless delivery and customer success. u2022 Industry Representation: Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. u2022 Team selling: work with internal SMEs and senior business development executives for team-based selling, particularly during the first 12-18 months of work.
