Job Description Group and Role OverviewOur scientists and engineers at TEL Technology Center, America, LLC, develop new and innovative technologies for semiconductor manufacturing. The Thin Film Process Technology Group is hiring student interns to join our team from September through December 2026. Our group focuses on the development of advanced processes and thin films used in semiconductordevices and manufacturing. This position will focus on the development of dielectric thin films,providing hands-on experience with advanced 300mm semiconductor tools and opportunities to work on new materials, process development and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography.Responsibilities Assist in developing new processes, devices, and tools for advanced semiconductor applications. Collaborate with process and hardware engineers on ALD, CVD and PVD deposition tools in cleanroom environments. Analyze, summarize, and communicate experimental data to internal teams. Create and revise operating procedures as needed, and document Best Known Methods. Support engineers with wafer management and logistics, including shipping, procurement, training, fab tool operation, and wafer lot handling. Preferred Qualifications Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field. Coursework in semiconductor materials, processes, or devices is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in semiconductors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability and desire to work as part of a multicultural team. Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field. Coursework in semiconductor materials, processes, or devices is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in semiconductors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability and desire to work as part of a multicultural team. Salary Ranges$39.95 - $53.51 Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
