Application Migration Specialist

Role: Seeking an Application Migration Specialist with an overall experience of 10+ years. Location: Remote (anywhere in USA) Job Responsibilities: u00b7 Understand the requirements captured by the Discovery PM/BA and devise detailed project tasks for migration of Application connectivity u00b7 Work with Client Network team for Whitelisting of IPS, Create firewall rules requests u00b7 Work with Clientu2019s Application packaging team by giving the full requirements for App packaging based on Discovered data u00b7 Work with Client Security team for possible Federation, SSO, SSL Cert, etc. u00b7 Work with Client Procurement team on License requests required for migration u00b7 Work on migrating the User developed Application related u2013 Excel, Macros, Shell scripts, Python scripts to destination Laptops Mandatory Skills (Top 5 Keywords or skills) Skill Proficiency Years of Experience Basic Knowledge Medium Expert Application Packaging 7YES Ne Networking 5YES Py Python Scripting 3YES Excel Macros, Shell scripting 5YES Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
