We are seeking amotivated and recovery-focused Certified Peer Specialist to join ourYouth Coordinated Opportunities for Recovery & Empowerment (CORE) andComprehensive Community Services (CCS) teams. You will empower youth toidentify their strengths, build coping skills, and access the communityresources they need to thrive-all while fostering trust, self-advocacy,and independence.What You'll Do: Facilitate Individual Support - Engageyouth in setting and achieving their recovery goals throughstrength-based, trauma-informed approaches. Provide CommunityConnection - Link youth and families to community resources, supports,and networks that enhance recovery and independence. Assist in CrisisManagement - Support individuals in developing effective strategies tomanage challenges and crises. Promote Team Collaboration - Partner withclinicians, care coordinators, and families to support the youth's careplan and progress. Empower Youth and Families - Encourageskill-building, problem-solving, and self-direction. Ensure Compliance -Follow all agency, legal, and contractual requirements, including timelydocumentation and reporting. Build Relationships - Maintain opencommunication and positive connections with youth, families, and teammembers. Mandated Reporting - Carry out duties as a mandated reporter inalignment with laws and organizational policies. ProfessionalDevelopment - Attend meetings, training, and supervision to continuelearning and improving skills. Be a Team Player - Collaborate with teammembers to ensure coordinated, high-quality services.
