Haul Truck Operator - Off Highway

Job Descriptions: The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating 60-70 - ton haul trucks transporting sand/gravel/rocks with a surface mining environment. This position will also operator other heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, etc. as needed. What you will do: + Safely operate 60-70-ton haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within the plant environment. + Perform and document daily equipment inspections + Conduct minor maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment + Maintain a clean and safe work environment; reporting any unsafe behaviors/conditions immediately to management + Follow all safety policies, procedures, operating procedures and MSHA regulations + Work extended hours, weekends as needed + Other duties as needed We are an equal opportunity employer Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k) with match; PTO as soon as 3 months of employment Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check Required Experience: What you need: + Haul Truck experience, preferably in a mining setting - 6 months to 1 year of related construction/mining required + No CDL required + Working knowledge/experience of heavy equipment operation + Be dependable, self-motivated + Experience using a variety of hand tools is a plus + Ability to perform and document equipment inspections + Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions at elevated areas + Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, grasp and perform manual tasks.
