About this agency Responsibilities This position is in the Office of External Affairs (OEA) and leads EXIM's engagement with key stakeholders, including trade associations, industry groups, chambers of commerce, and think tanks. OEA coordinates EXIM's annual conference and participation in internal events to promote awareness of the agency's financing tools and products. The Office also manages EXIM's congressional mandated advisory committees, overseeing member selection, meeting logistics, member engagement, and compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. In addition, OEA directs agency protocol, serving as the primary liaison for foreign government delegations and other high-profile visitors to ensure proper diplomatic standards are maintained. The incumbent serves as a senior Strategic Partnerships Advisor and consultant to the Vice President, Office of External Affairs. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, the incumbent provides senior-level advisory support and collaborates in shaping and executing EXIM's partnership strategy with federal agencies, industry partners, and international counterparts. The incumbent works closely with executive leadership and serves as a key liaison to federal agencies, trade associations, financial institutions, and global partners. Duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as a principal representative for EXIM in senior-level meetings, interagency forums, conferences, and working groups, leading collaborative efforts that strengthen stakeholder engagement, expand strategic partnerships, and enhance external coordination in support of agency priorities. Delivers comprehensive executive-level briefings, detailed reports, and well-supported recommendations to the Senior Vice President, Vice President, and EXIM senior leadership, ensuring they are equipped with the insights needed to guide strategic decisions. Develops and executes comprehensive strategic partnership plans that identify priority audiences, outline targeted outreach approaches, and align external engagement activities with EXIM's long-term mission, policy objectives, and organizational goals. Develops and implements performance measures and evaluation criteria to assess the effectiveness, reach, and outcomes of external engagement and partnership activities in support of EXIM's strategic goals. Establishes, maintains, and manages senior-level relationships with external stakeholders, including exporters, financial institutions, trade associations, industry groups, chambers of commerce, think tanks, and federal, state, local, and international partners. Cultivates high-value partnerships that advance EXIM's mission, strategic priorities, strengthen U.S. export competitiveness, strategic priorities and support outreach to underserved or emerging markets. Plans, organizes, and participates in roundtables, forums, conferences, trade expos, and booth engagements to expand stakeholder understanding of EXIM programs and advance strategic engagement objectives.
