JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE: Responsible for leadingthe Global Instrument Service teams across North America, EMEA, and PacAsia, ensuring alignment of service strategy, instrument support goals,and team development initiatives. This role oversees the creation andglobal deployment of service documentation, processes, training, andtools that support Promega's instrument portfolio. OUR TEAM: The GlobalInstrument Service team is composed of service engineers, productspecialists, and training experts. We deliver high-quality lifecyclesupport and personalized workflow solutions to scientists around theworld. Our team supports distributors, authorized service providers, andbranch-specific service engineers through certification programs andcomprehensive technical support. YOUR ROLE: Promega is a globalorganization with 16 branches and numerous distributors providingproducts to over 100 countries. The Instrument Service Team is part ofthe Global Service and Support Organization, consisting of TechnicalService, Scientific Applications, Field Application and SupportScientists, and Technical & Sales Development Training experts aroundthe globe. Promega has been selling and supporting instruments for over15 years, primarily through service depots around the world. In 2017, welaunched our first instrument that required field-based support,prompting an ongoing evolution of our global service capabilities. Haveyou worked for an instrumentation company delivering field-based serviceand support internationally? Have you led and developed the careers ofexperienced engineers, trainers, and product support professionals? You will lead a team of approximately 20 experienced professionalswho provide global support across a range of instruments. You will alsobe responsible for training and supporting more than 100 engineersworldwide. CORE DUTIES: 1. Develop and lead the strategy to ensureglobal alignment of the instrument services, support and services goals,and team development opportunities. 2. Establish an innovative,value-based, global service roadmap for Promega instrumentation, e.g.Maxwell, GloMax, Maxprep, and Spectrum instruments. 3. Responsible forglobal resourcing of instrument service team members that report intoGlobal Service and Support (GSS), taking into consideration instrumentservice team members who report directly to our branches, distributors,and authorized service teams. 4.
