PositionPurpose: Under management's direction, the Hospital Services Swingworker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-siteproactive collection and exchange waste containers for variousStericycle programs. This includes, but not limited to: SharpsManagement Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, andDocument Management. This service is provided at regularly scheduledintervals for assigned facilities. Fills in for other Team Members whoare on vacation, sick, leave, etc. Assists Supervisor, as needed, coversschedules and locations, which may vary based on coverage required. KeyJob Activities: Primary back up for Hospital Services Technicians.Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor,collect, and exchange waste containers for various Stericycle programsand services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service,Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document stalls product, resurvey accounts and assists Supervisor inasset/inventory management. Interacts professionally with onsitecustomer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Maytravel to customers in assigned area to proactively resolve customerservice questions and issues. Maintains a rigid collection andservice schedule. May assist with installs as required. Communicatesduty status on a defined scheduled. Perform other duties andresponsibilities, as assigned. Position requires extensive lifting,walking, bending, and pushing.
