Production Scheduler

JOB REQUIREMENTS: View all jobsProduction SchedulerMilwaukee, Wisconsin Manufacturing Global Power Components is a privately held, growingmanufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, largegenerator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housingfully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. JobOverview Global Power produces a wide variety of custom weld assemblies,fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of powerequipment. Production Scheduler will organize and disseminateinformation to achieve maximum efficiency in production activities. TheRole Compile information from a variety of sources into a masterschedule. Improve communication methods and scheduling crease visibility of information to stakeholders on plant floor. Checkprogress of work on the plant floor and report in master schedule.Assist in coordinating the flow of work and materials betweendepartments. Evaluate 'make-to-stock' inventory and its impact ondownstream production. Closely track status details on 'high profile'jobs to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with Procurement, Quality,and Logistics to align production with material and capacityconstraints. Perform administrative tasks as needed. Reports toOperations Manager, from within Production Control team. Analyticalmindset; distill streams of information into useful, pertinent,actionable information for production supervisors. Astute attention todetail. Candidates must cooperatively function within a team ofengineers & production personnel. Minimum QualificationsAssociates/Bachelor's Degree in; Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering,or related field. Relevant experience in production planning,scheduling, project management, or operations. Familiarity with ERP orMRP systems, Project Management Tools, and Excel features such astables, filters, and sorting. Familiarity with Smartsheet or Epicorpreferred. Verbal & written communication skills.
