Weekend work is available on occasion.Responsibilities:Assist with countertop installationsFurnishing tools, materials, and supplies to the Lead Install TechnicianMaintain safety protocols and participate in safety trainingsEnsure job site is neat and organized during installation and cleaned to company standards upon completionTrack all equipment and suppliesOffer unparalleled customer service experience during installationsProvide input and resources for the evaluation of the installation plan, and make necessary adjustments to materials to complete the job as requestedPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in the countertop industry or construction preferred but not required. Other construction or carpentry related experience training is a plus.Ability to read and use a tape measureMust have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and pass a NY DOT physicalReliable transportation/attendanceFamiliarity with the maintenance and operation of tools and equipmentMust be able to stand; walk; push; bend; grasp; reach; and perform repetitive wrist, hand or finger movementsAbility to handle heavy materials - lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing 100+ poundsMust be able to climb stairs, lift, squat, and stand for long periods of timeMust have excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well within a teamHighly skilled in judgment and decision-making abilitiesAbility to prioritize and multitaskWork extended hours as needed to complete installations
