Schedule: PRN Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 9975 TAVISTOCK LAKES BLVD City: ORLANDO State: Florida Postal Code: 32827 Job Description: Schedule: PRN Location: Oviedo Outpatient Imaging Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives. u2022 Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation. u2022 Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams. u2022 Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. u2022 Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets and/or reports promptly if applicable, re-scanning patients as requested. u2022 Communicates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, including notifying physicians of abnormal findings. u2022 Utilizes computer systems to update exam status, manage orders, and ensure accurate charges. u2022 Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment safely, adhering to infection control standards. u2022 Performs a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and rotates between multiple departments as needed. u2022 Assists with clinical instructions and serves as a resource to less experienced employees. u2022 Participates in performance improvement activities and contributes to process improvement initiatives. u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.
