Description: You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Stf for the Advanced Development Programs u2013 Skunk Works which is responsible for designing and integrating nextu2011generation weapon systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Aeronautical Engineer Stf you will be responsible for driving the integration and design synthesis of the XR/AGMu2011158 Flex weapon system family while collaborating across a multiu2011disciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include: + Lead integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation. + Support and conduct multiu2011disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost. + Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supplyu2011chain teams to ensure smooth production operations. + Generate and present technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders. + Mentor earlyu2011career engineers and champion Oneu2011LM culture across crossu2011functional teams. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s or above Degree in an Engineering Discipline u2022 Experience in airframe structure design and analysis u2022 Experience with metallic and composite design u2022 Experience with CATIA V5 and or 3DX Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) u2022 Experience working with LM BAs u2022 Experience interacting with suppliers, external customers and Production Operation u2022 MRB coordination and support u2022 Experience with hand stress analysis u2022 Experience with hypersonic boost-glide systems Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
