Timeline and Expectations Werner ElectricSupply will be posting the internship positions starting in lateSeptember which will run through the end of November. IT Intern will focus on investigating, assessing andproviding a plan for updates to the IT hardware cabinets at the variousWerner branch locations. Intern will also have some exposure toassisting our internal customer users with system and software issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with IT team todevelop assessment criteria for IT hardware cabinets (cable management,UPS, power supplies, enclosure thermal management and climate control)Develop a project plan to assess the equipment inventory currently inplace. Schedule visits to each of the branch locations to conduct theassessment and inventory of hardware in the IT cabinet or closet. Workwith IT team to determine what improvements and upgrades are requiredand build a recommendation for each site. Develop a financial analysisof recommendations.
