Benefits include competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth, ensuring a fulfilling balance between personal and career advancement.Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop software, hardware, and test plans for calibrating Nokia coherent pluggable products.Identify performance-impacting characteristics of optical transceivers through optical communication understanding.Define and configure necessary test instrumentation and hardware for effective testing.Collaborate with product teams to create and refine efficient optical calibration sequences.Co-develop features with firmware and DSP teams to enhance product capabilities.Automate test execution through robust software development.Define and implement detailed testing requirements in partnership with engineering staff.Drive improvements in test yield and reduce test execution time.Your Skills And ExperienceMust-Have:MS in science or engineering; PhD preferred (Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering)Proven experience in developing test and measurement solutions for optical componentsProficiency in writing scalable software with experience in object-oriented languagesFamiliarity with quadrature amplitude modulation theoryHands-on experience with optical and electrical test and measurement equipmentNice-To-Have:Experience with VB.NetFamiliarity with testing and characterizing photonic circuits with I/Q modulatorsKnowledge of Serdes, electrical RF testing, and FEC operationExperience with digital and mixed-signal IC testingStrong attention to detail and ability to produce detailed test plan documentationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
