Job Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This position will be a full-time contract and onsite . What Youu2019ll Do + Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues + Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, applications, and updates + Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and walk-up support requests in a timely manner + Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary + Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and system configurations + Assist with onboarding and offboarding by setting up and decommissioning user accounts and equipment + Support remote users via phone, email, and remote access tools + Ensure compliance with security policies, including antivirus, patching, and access controls + Participate in asset management, inventory tracking, and equipment lifecycle management What You'll Need Required: + Associateu2019s or Bacheloru2019s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience + 1u20133 years of experience in a desktop support or help desk role + Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems + Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts + Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills Preferred: + IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications + Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android) + Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash) + Knowledge of endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, JAMF) Physical Demands + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor + May require lifting and moving computer equipment (up to 40 lbs) + Frequent interaction with employees at all levels of the organization #LI-CB1 Reasonable accommodation statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 u2013 8111. $45,000 per year The pay range for this position is listed above.
