An Electrician 2 isresponsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and safety systems in oil and gas production environments.Run cable tray and install cablesInstall cable glands and work with transit systemsInstall conduit and sealsTerminate power and control wiring under supervisionUtilize multi-meter for electrical diagnosticsComplete all required paperwork as defined by managementWork alongside technicians, fitters, and helpers to install and repair safety systemsRead and interpret schematicsRequisition materials and coordinate with clientsPrepare proper JSAs for assigned tasksEnsure the proper use of personal protective equipmentCoordinate crew changes with the project managerWork at heights with fall protection gear and from ladders or scaffoldingHandle small toolboxes or tool belts while installing and repairing equipmentUse hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, socket sets, drills, and cutting devicesHigh School Diploma or Equivalent3+ years of electrical experience preferredWorking knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred (training available)Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervisionPhysical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stoopingMust be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respiratorMust be able to respond to visual and audible alarmsValid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
