The Land Analyst I supports Land Asset Teams by researching oil & gas leases and E&P contracts, analyzing ownership interests, and producing reports that track obligations and revenues. This role sits at the intersection of land administration, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination (Ops, Legal, Development).It’s ideal for someone with 3-5 years of land/lease experience who’s comfortable working in land systems and interpreting contract data.Research and analyze: Oil & gas leases, E&P contracts, Working Interest (WI), and Net Revenue Interest (NRI.Support: New wells, workovers, and recompletions.Create reports using: Quorum Land System and business Objects (or similar reporting tools).Track and analyze: Lease obligations and contract compliance.Partner cross-functionally with: Operations, development, legal and OBO teams.3-5 years of experience in Land, Lease Administration, or Land Systems work required.Working knowledge of Working Interest (WI), Net Revenue Interest (NRI), and lease obligations, with ability to verify ownership for new wells and recompletions.Experience using land systems (Quorum preferred) and reporting tools to create and maintain accurate records.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with Operations, Legal, and Development teams.Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, research solutions, and work within established procedures.Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, fit for duty/ agility test.
