Eagle Metalcraft is seeking an experienced and driven CNC Team Lead / Programmer / Setup Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for leading daily shop floor operations, programming and optimizing CNC machines using Mastercam and/or Fusion 360, performing complex setups, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.Lead and support CNC machinists to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality productionCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and/or Fusion 360Develop efficient toolpaths for 3 and 4 axis vertical mills and horizontalsSet up and operate CNC machines with Haas, Fanuc, and Yasnac controlsPerform complex machine setups including tooling selection, workholding, offsets, and first-article validationInterpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specificationsTroubleshoot machining, programming, and control-related issuesMonitor cycle times and drive process improvements to increase efficiencyQualify and QC all parts to meet customer requirements on first article and production inspections.Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection requirementsAssist with quoting of new or revised parts and to suggest best methods to produce quality parts in a cost-efficient manner.Train and mentor team members on machining best practices and CAM software usageCoordinate workflow and communicate with engineering, quality, and production teamsMaintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment in proper working conditionEnforce safety standards and promote a culture of accountabilityNoUSD $28.00/Hr.USD $35.00/Hr.Qualifications:5+ years of CNC machining experience2+ years in a leadership or lead role preferredStrong proficiency in Mastercam and/or Fusion 360Experience with Haas, Fanuc, and Yasnac CNC controlsAdvanced knowledge of G-code programming and toolpath optimizationStrong understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with multi-axis machining preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityUse and knowledge of all precision measuring tools and equipment including CMM.Preferred Skills:Experience in high-mix, low-volume production environmentsKnowledge of lean manufacturing principlesExperience implementing process improvements and reducing cycle timesWhat We Offer:Competitive SalariesMedical Plan including Family contributionsMatching Health Savings AccountsMatching 401K ProgramPaid Vacations and HolidaysTerm Life InsuranceCash Bonus ProgramOngoing Training Programswww.eaglemetalcraft.comFounded in 1953 as the Eagle Manufacturing Company, we began primarily as a welding shop.
