Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Fort Worth, TexasWarehouse Positions Pay WeeklyHourly Pay $20.00 per hourSchedule: Weekend Shift - Friday through Sunday 4:30am to 3:00pm and Monday 4:30pm to 3:30amApply Here with Ryder TodayClick here to see and hear it from a Ryder Supply Chain Employee:https:jobs.ryder.com/jobs/We want YOU to join our family made up of Proud Women and Men in Supply Chain who work alongside the many Military Reserve and Veterans we hire everydayEEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/VeteranHigh school diploma or equivalent3 years or more in Warehouse/Manufacturing/Production Environment preferred1 year or more in Construction or Carpentry preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to work within a diverse work environmentHighly thorough and dependableMust be punctual and have a good attendance recordPerforms work independently with minimal supervisionPossesses a high degree of initiativeCapable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8 hour day)Ability to:Work independently and as a member of a teamBe a team playerCreate and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Comprehend basic mathOperate power equipment in a safe mannerLift and/or push/pull up to 70 lbsTwist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basisUse hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movementsWork at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twistingFollow repair processImportant Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.Pallet RepairSafely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner that meets company safety standardsManually lift 70 lb pallets from a stack to a repair tableOperate a pry bar to detach damaged boards from the palletsOperate a grinder and a saw to remove existing nails and use a 25 lb nail gun to nail together the componentsQualityPallet must meet and pass CHEP's quality control auditSafety and SecurityMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work areaAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouseConduct operations in a manner which promotes safetyComply with OSHA and MSDS StandardsMust wear all safety equipment while repairing palletsPerforms duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contractPerforms other duties as assignedRyder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
