As we continue to grow, we are looking for team members who share our passion for service and attention to detail.We are currently seeking a Full-Time Intake Coordinator to play a vital role in ensuring seamless coordination and efficient management of patient care referrals.? Job PurposeThe Intake Coordinator is responsible for capturing and organizing all relevant referral information — from insurance verification to payment processing — ensuring accurate and timely setup of care services. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary visits, optimize the patient experience, and facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals.? Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Receive referral requests from providers or pharmacies via phone, fax, or online portal• Utilize multiple software systems to determine member plans and requirements• Gather required documentation, including benefit eligibility verification• Build cases in the utilization management system• Evaluate cases requiring additional notifications to members, providers, and/or pharmacists• Contact providers/pharmacies as needed to obtain additional information• Ensure accurate data entry to prevent compliance or downstream issues• Provide care updates to appropriate parties• Prepare accurate, timely, and organized documentation• Coordinate care with clients as needed• Provide healthcare instructions to patients/families when appropriateāœ… Qualifications• High school diploma or GED required• Experience with electronic charting required• 1-3 years of Medicare/insurance billing, authorizations, or medical records experience• Familiarity with EHR systems and scheduling/billing software preferred• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment?
