Our client, a leading organization in the industrial supply sector, is seeking a dedicated Credit Analyst to join their team. As a Credit Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Credit Department supporting the finance and sales teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Credit Analyst Location: Melville, NY Pay Range: $40 - $47 per hour Shift: Monday- Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch) - Hybrid schedule Duration: through December 31, 2026 What's the Job? + Analyze the creditworthiness of accounts using tools such as Dun & Bradstreet, business financials, and bank references. + Review credit-held orders for release and increase credit lines when necessary. + Process credit applications efficiently and accurately. + Review orders flagged for potential fraud activity, conducting thorough investigations. + Communicate effectively with customers and sales teams to support credit decisions and resolve issues. What's Needed? + Bachelor's Degree preferred + Minimum of 3 years of commercial credit experience with Credit Analyst experience required. + Working knowledge of AS/400, SAP and PC skills and Dun & Bradstreet is required. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. + Proficiency in Excel, Word, and relevant financial software.
