Fleet Operations Coordinator Location: On-site across three client locations in New York & New Jersey + Blauvelt, NY + Hawthorne, NY + Lodi, NJ Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (9 months) Work Environment: 100% On-Site Compensation: + Pay Rate: $19u2013$26/hr (W2) + Conversion Salary: $60,000u2013$70,000 + Company vehicle provided during contract and after conversion + Weekend and holiday availability required About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Fleet Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day management of a large vehicle fleet for a major client. This role blends hands-on fleet oversight, operational coordination, and client engagement. You will help manage the health, efficiency, and productivity of the fleet while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring an exceptional support experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with vehicle rental, fleet management, or operations experience who enjoys working in the field, interacting with customers, and solving problems in real time. Key Responsibilities / Daily Fleet Operations + Perform detailed pre- and postu2011service inspections on fleet vehicles + Manage and track variable fleet units across multiple locations + Coordinate vehicle cleaning, detailing, refueling, and general readiness + Schedule and oversee mechanical and body repairs with approved thirdu2011party vendors + Ensure all activitiesu2014whether internal or vendoru2011managedu2014are properly documented Client & Vendor Engagement + Serve as a primary onu2011site contact for client, vendors, and fleet personnel + Build and maintain strong relationships to support operational success + Provide ongoing account support and recommend costu2011saving or efficiencyu2011improving solutions + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously enhance fleet operations Required Skills & Experience + 1u20132 years of experience managing rental or fleet vehicles + Understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and fleet operations + 2u20135 years of customer service or client/account support experience (B2B preferred) + High School Diploma or equivalent (Bacheloru2019s degree preferred but not required) + Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Ability to drive and remain on your feet for up to 8 hours + Willingness to commute regularly to all three locations: + Blauvelt, NY + Hawthorne, NY + Lodi, NJ Top Skills u2013 Must Haves + Fleet Management + Fleet Maintenance / Vehicle Rental Operations + Operations Management / Logistics + Customer Support Whatu2019s in It for You + Opportunity to work with one of the most recognized leaders in fleet and operations management + Company vehicle provided during the contract and after direct hire + Growth-focused environment with long-term career potential + Hands-on operational role with visible impact on daily fleet performance + Chance to contribute to process improvement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blauvelt, NY.
