Description ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A PERSONAL VEHICALE AND BE COMFORTABLE WORKING FULLY ON SITE Monday - Friday this is a fully on site opportunity in Westchester County Description Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join their team. This individual will contribute to the support of equipment which includes but is not limited to laptops, PCs, Windows Devices, Mobile Devices, iPads, and various other technologies. This candidate will report to an on site Information Technology lead who supports this team. In addition to having strong technical skills and foundational IT knowledge, candidates will need to have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. The environment will require this person to work well with end users and demonstrate strong customer service. Top Skills' Details 1. 3 years' + experience within the Desktop Support Space specifically supporting Active Directory for adding/removing users, password resets, basic troubleshooting 2. 3 years' + experience supporting Microsoft Network troubleshooting (Configurations, Network Command lines: ping, IPconfig, vLAN support, trace route, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, subnets, gateways) 3. 3 years' experience supporting mobile devices including phones, iPads, Chromebooks, laptops, etc. 4. Excellent communication skills, customer service experience The following experience is strongly encouraged for this assignment -Have advanced knowledge on troubleshooting desktop systems -Have advanced configuration and management of windows software -Configure and manage network based user profiles (Active Directory or other Directory Service tools) -General network experience with printers/routers/adding users/grouping -Experience with VMware/server virtualization -Ability to install network operation systems and perform simple upgrades to the network -Able to troubleshoot network systems -Server Hardware configuration -Manage switch configuration and troubleshooting -LAN/WAN experience -Advance knowledge of troubleshooting email -Advanced knowledge of workstation setup and installs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Active Directory - Adding/Creating/Deleting Groups. Granting Access, creating user accounts for SSO, unlocking accounts, creating proxies etc. O365 - Email security, configuring accounts, getting licensing. Office 365 applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Exchange Online. Intune/G-Suite/jamf- patching, updates, etc VMWare / PowerShell SMART QUESTIONS FOR NETWORKING: -What information does IP Config pull? -How would you use PING -What is your experience with Cisco Routers and Switches -What is your experience with Wireless Networking -What experience do you have with Active Directory Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Katonah, NY.
