Adecco Healthcare is working with our client in Middletown, NY to hire an on-site/in person File Clerk for their facility. Type: Contract to Hire Hours: Monday - Friday 9a-5p Pay Rate: $15.35/hour Responsibilities Include: + Burn Patient images via all systems : Coactiv & Change Health Care PACS, Share radiology imaging via CD or electronic image + Sharing solution with both patients & physicians offices while remaining HIPAA compliant + Distribution of CDs via mail / FEDEX + Respond to all outside physician fax requests + Respond to internal emails + Interoffice & pick up all requested imaging + Handle all CD uploads both within the department & outside of radiology + Collect payment for any imaging requests + Answer internal/external phone calls + Maintain file room logs Requirements Include: + HS Diploma or GED + 1+ years medical records experience + Knowledge of image sharing solutions + Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines + Effective communication and relationship-building and interpersonal skills + Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel + EPIC experience preferred Why work for Adecco? u00b7 Weekly Pay u00b7 401(k) Plan u00b7 Skills Training u00b7 Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Pay Details: $15.35 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
