Jr. Paralegal

Description Our client seeking a Jr. Paralegal to join their team in Brea, California, supporting legal operations in the transportation equipment manufacturing industry. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in intellectual property and civil litigation, as well as experience drafting legal documents and pleadings. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with intellectual property cases by conducting research and organizing relevant documentation. u2022 Support civil litigation processes, including case preparation and document management. u2022 Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Maintain organized records of case files and ensure timely updates to legal databases. u2022 Collaborate with legal teams to prepare for court proceedings and client meetings. u2022 Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide insights to attorneys. u2022 Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in all assigned tasks. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates. u2022 Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project goals efficiently. u2022 Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling and correspondence. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in intellectual property and civil litigation. u2022 Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation. u2022 Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents with attention to detail. u2022 Excellent organizational skills to manage case files and deadlines. u2022 Ability to conduct thorough legal research and present findings effectively. u2022 Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. u2022 Familiarity with legal databases and technology tools. u2022 A paralegal certificate or equivalent education and experience in the legal field.
