We currently have an exciting contract opportunity with one of our leading clients Title: Technical Writer Location: Milpitas, CA Duration: 12 months Type: W2 contract _(NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)_ Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.41/hour Overview + Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test and assist in research for thedevelopment of products and processes. + Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. + They may also handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development and audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. Responsibilities + Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. + Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. + Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. At times, they may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. + Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for non-technical and technical users. Required Qualifications + High school diploma. Bacheloru2019s degree preferred + Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Knowledge of how to work efficiently with Styles, Tables and automatically generated tables of content a must + Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar PDF writing software + Experience with procedures, forms, and instructions preferred + Experience with quality / environmental management systems preferred Additional Information + Monday u2013 Friday / 8am u2013 4pm OR 9am u2013 a5pm (flexible) + Applicants must be U.S Citizen, Green Card holder, or Permanent Resident.
