Procedures Mechanical Engineer

Job Description This person will be responsible for creating installation procedures for the field technicians to follow, going from foundation to installation of equipment, commissioning, revising and updating procedures, reviewing drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, reviewing schematics, reviewing single line diagrams (electrical drawings), general arrangement drawings. And enforcing industry standard codes. Soft skills are a must since they are creating the narrative of these procedure. Experience with P&IDs, GT & ST alignment, Foundation, Piping, Shaft Alignment (Motors, pumps, fans), Heat exchangers. Knowledge of standard codes (ASME, ISO, OSHA) NOT LOOKING FOR DESIGNERS Soft skills are a must Great written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills. Able to speak Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Japanese. Experience with Turbines (steam, gas, etc.)
