Data Entry Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a team in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. This contract-to-permanent position involves maintaining and processing participant and plan-level data for defined contribution retirement plans. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sensitive information while adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: u2022 Enter and update participant demographic details and contribution files into the recordkeeping system with precision. u2022 Review incoming data for completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. u2022 Conduct regular data validation, audits, and reconciliation to maintain data integrity. u2022 Process transactions such as contributions, loan repayments, rollovers, and distributions following established procedures. u2022 Monitor daily data submissions and collaborate with internal teams or clients to address missing or incorrect information. u2022 Organize and maintain electronic records for compliance and audit purposes. u2022 Communicate effectively with internal departments and external employers to resolve data-related issues. u2022 Support special projects, including cleanup efforts, as required. u2022 Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all regulatory guidelines related to retirement plan data. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. u2022 Solid typing skills with a focus on accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with retirement plans and payroll files is preferred but not required. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills. u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with industry regulations.
