Come join our amazing team and work remote from home What youu2019ll do: In partnership with the Team Lead of Network Engineering, manages the daily network operations of the LAN, WAN, and Security environments, while continually providing quality user service throughout the company. Network Services includes: Network Infrastructure, Network Security and Network Management. Performs all duties in accordance with the companyu2019s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $85,000.00 to $100,000.00. What youu2019ll need: u00b7 Network Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Maintains network services necessary for the daily operation of all affiliate companies Maintains system resources required to support the network infrastructure Ensures that all work being performed on network equipment is executed so that a high level of service is continually provided to internal users o Maintains an up-to-date inventory of all network infrastructure systems, software, and appliances o In partnership with the Provisioning Engineer, maintains an up-to-date inventory of all data circuits Assists with the supervision of all vendor and contract personnel when working on company network equipment Provisions remote access accounts and provides customer support Provisions corporate Ethernet ports, providing support for customer moves and printer requests, and maintaining documentation Ensures that all work tickets are updated in a timely manner u00b7 Network Infrastructure Planning and Execution Assists in network planning activities including expansion strategies for the network infrastructure, including branch projects o Assists in the acquisition and installation of the companyu2019s LANs, WANs and Wireless Access Points, participating in the change control process when necessary o Assists with the evaluation of new products u00b7 Network Management Performs analysis and monitoring of network equipment, software and data circuit utilization, monitoring network efficiency and providing resolution to network problems o Assists with the design and deployment of fault and performance network management systems, such that they provide the required trouble isolation and identification required for applications u00b7 Network Security Assists with the design and update of workflow and network traffic documentation, assisting with the implementation of network security policies to prevent unauthorized access o Executes firewall changes Documents all requests for IT Security Exceptions, executing network changes were indicated o Monitors SOC activity, documenting issues based on severity Administers internet filtering software o Assists in the implementation of business-to-business VPN tunnels u00b7 Self-Development o Keeps current and educated on new network technologies Knowledge and experience in support of Cisco network operations and implementations u00b7 Network monitoring: SolarWinds, sniffing software, or other enterprise network monitoring system u00b7 Knowledge of IDS/IPS system or software u00b7 Knowledge of Firewall/Proxy services u00b7 Microsoft Office Product Suite, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio u00b7 Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions;
