CNC Machinist

Responsibilities + Operate a variety of CNC Mills and Lathes + Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to complete machining tasks accurately + Perform shop math to determine correct dimensions, tooling, speeds, and feeds + Use precision measuring tools to verify tight tolerances and ensure parts meet specifications + Select cutting tools and set up machines for multiple operations within a machining cell + Ensure proper use of equipment and materials throughout production + Create simple production aids when needed and stay current on machining and safety practices + Accurately record part counts and enter data into Job Travelers and the MES system + Perform basic machine maintenance as directed by management Essential Skills + Ability to run CNC machines and reliably inspect parts + Strong blueprint reading skills + Experience operating mills, grinders, and other machine tools + Basic knowledge of programming and grinding techniques + Familiarity with GD&T + Ability to perform setups and changeovers Preferred Qualifications + Experience with SolidWorks + Strong mechanical aptitude and consistent attendance (especially for entryu2011level roles) + Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs frequently Why Youu2019ll Enjoy Working Here + Supportive, familyu2011oriented work culture + Opportunities to learn, grow, and advance + Stable company with a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship Work Environment + This role is based in a machine shop environment where youu2019ll be standing or walking most of the day.
