Job Description

An electrical contractor in Bremerton, WA is currently hiring for an Electrical Project Manager. This individual will take full responsibility for multiple longu2011term electrical infrastructure projects, including substation upgrades, medium/high voltage systems, and federal construction projects (primarily at PSNS or JBLM). Candidates must have strong project management experience within electrical construction and the ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and client communication. Pay: $105,000 u2013 $155,000/year (based on tenure, electrical contracting experience, project management experience, and federal project experience) Location: Bremerton, WA (Team currently working out of Renton office & Kent warehouse until Bremerton office opens in Spring) Schedule: Standard Mondayu2013Friday schedule Responsibilities + Lead project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and job closeout + Provide monthly project status updates and percentu2011ofu2011completion reporting + Perform detailed takeu2011offs and estimating for electrical service, TI, light commercial, and light industrial projects + Market and build profitable jobs while developing long-term client relationships + Make key decisions regarding project cost, schedule, and performance + Partner with contractors, vendors, and internal operations teams + Coordinate and direct field workforce + Support a culture of safety and injury-free operations + Prepare and write clear, detailed scope proposals Qualification Requirements + 5+ years of construction project management experience (industrial infrastructure, MV/HV, or substation strongly preferred) + Current or recent experience working for an electrical contracting company + Experience with medium voltage / high voltage / substation / ductbank projects + Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods + Prior government project experience (federal, NAVFAC, USACE preferred) + Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts + Experience developing detailed scope proposals + Primavera P6 scheduling experience (preferred) + ConEst estimating software experience (big plus) + Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, estimating tools) + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Disqualifiers + Jobu2011hoppy or unstable work history + No electrical contracting experience + No MV/HV, substation, or relevant industrial project experience + No experience writing scope proposals + Less than 3u20135 years of construction project management experience Employee Value Proposition + Join a rapidly growing electrical contractor with 25% annual growth projected + Be part of a newly built Federal Projects team with strong long-term pipeline + Car allowance and ORCA card option available for Tacomau2011area team members + Benefits include: + Medical, dental, and vision + 401(k) + Opportunity for career advancement as federal project volume expands Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bremerton, WA.
