We are connected by our mission - partnering and healing for a healthy future - and dedicated to the health and well-being of the communities we serve.FTE: .4, Shift: evening, Schedule: 8 hr shiftsPosition SummaryThe Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment in collaboration with the Dietary Aide and Diet Clerk.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes proper techniques to load and unload the dishwasher to ensure proper sanitization while optimizing efficient use of equipmentScrubs pots, pans and any other equipment that cannot go through the dishwasher in a timely fashionCleans and maintains equipment according to proper operating standardsCleans cafe grills, broilers, ovens and hoods as scheduledTidies and clean cafe and kitchen at all timesKeeps adequate levels of supplies stocked in area so the next shift has needed items readily availableRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredPrevious dishwashing experience preferredWashington State (DOH) Food Handlers card requiredAbout Yakima Memorial HospitalMultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital has served the Yakima Valley since 1950. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $19.37 - $26.16 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
