Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Job Title: Shipping Clerk 1st Shift $19 Responsibilities + Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage. + Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging. + Identify and dispose of defective items. + Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, and padding. + Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse. + Maintain a clean work area. Essential Skills + Experience in general production and machine operation. + Proficiency in packing and using RF scanners. + Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. + Experience with FedEx/UPS systems and setting up trucks/messenger services. + Familiarity with pallet jacks and production lines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with forklifts, including sit-down models. + Inventory management and material handling skills. + Experience in loading, unloading, and packaging. Work Environment The position is based in a clean manufacturing environment with a faint ink smell, though masks are not required. You will be working in a well-maintained plant with all manufacturing processes under one roof. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.
