Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Epic Orders Analyst to augment the inpatient Epic team at a large hospital system in North Carolina. This role is open due to multiple vacancies on the Orders team, requiring additional support to maintain daily operations at scale. The analyst will focus primarily on Epic Inpatient Orders maintenance and build, supporting provider-facing workflows such as consults, ordering, and documentation. The team supports a wide range of physician workflows, including virtual care and e-consults, where providers collaborate remotely rather than physically assessing patients. This resource will help cover both existing Orders work and overflow from adjacent initiatives, including virtual care programs that extend into hospital settings (e.g., custom routing for e-consults, telehealth extensions, and acute careu2013atu2013home models). While Epic does not provide out-of-the-box content for some of these workflows, the team leverages custom configurations and existing routing logic to support care delivery.
