FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 4 Shift Details:OPT, minimum requirement of 4 shifts per month. Willing to work nighthours, especially from midnight to 8am. When no available night hourswithin posted schedule, one need to be able to pick up two 8 hoursshifts on weekend (am/pm shift) and any other 2 shifts on weekdays,monthly. 1 major and 1 minor holidays as assigned. Job Summary:Responsible for triaging incoming calls to the Froedtert & MedicalCollege of Wisconsin (F&MCW) After Hours Answering Service frompatients, caregivers, or other health care providers. Triage RN assessesthe patient's needs and provides appropriate clinical options throughthe guidance of the triage protocols which may include educationregarding immediate care advice and preventative behavior. Patient callsto the After Hours Answering Service are documented using a telephoneencounter in Epic, the electronic medical record. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of five years of clinical experience in acute orambulatory care is required. Seven or more years of clinical experiencein acute or ambulatory care is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a levelnormally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years educationat an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensureas a Registered Nurse is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Requires current state of Wisconsin RegisteredNurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participatingstate in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Compensation, Benefits &Perks at Froedtert Health Pay is expected to be between: (expressed ashourly) $29.70 - $46.04. Final compensation is based on experience andwill be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interviewprocess.
