FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1Shift Details: Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Monitors the pharmacyservice line and the daily activities of the pharmacists and pharmacytechnicians to ensure efficient workflows and business goals areachieved. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: employeescheduling, personnel management, recruiting, training pharmacypersonnel, performance improvement and customer satisfaction. Assists inimplementing key strategic and operational initiatives to meetdepartmental goals. Assures that patient care is maintained throughcompliance with the department's quality improvement plan as well asall state and federal pharmacy legislation and statues. Performs theduties of a pharmacist as needed. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy isrequired. Experience in supervision or management is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an ACPEcertified school of pharmacy or a PharmD. is required. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Demonstrates proficiencies in such areas as: patienteducation, mediation counseling, appropriate drug utilization, inventorycontrol, pharmacy law, third party billing and computer systems.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Current WI state license as a RegisteredPharmacist is required.
