Youu2019ll work alongside industry-leading planners, designers, engineers, and environmental specialists on projects that help our clients reimagine whatu2019s possible.This role offers the opportunity to grow your technical capabilities, contribute to meaningful projects, and help us deliver on our purpose: challenging today to reinvent tomorrow.What Youu2019ll Dou2022 Support multidisciplinary teams in the development of innovative site and landscape designs for:o Parks, open spaces, and recreational environmentso Urban streetscapes and mobility corridorso Campus, civic, and institutional projectso Green infrastructure, stormwater systems, and ecological restorationu2022 Assist with conceptual design, site planning, 2D/3D graphics, visualizations, and presentation materials.u2022 Contribute to the production of construction documents, including layout, grading, planting, and detailed technical drawings.u2022 Conduct site research, environmental analysis, and inventory documentation to inform design decisions.u2022 Prepare high-quality exhibits, diagrams, and visual storytelling materials for clients and stakeholders.u2022 Collaborate proactively with project managers and technical leads across disciplines and offices.u2022 Participate in field observations, construction support tasks, and post-occupancy evaluations as needed. u2022 Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.u2022 Foundational understanding of site design principles, landscape systems, sustainable design, and environmental stewardship.u2022 Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software, including:o AutoCADo Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)o SketchUp, Lumion, or other modeling toolsu2022 Strong graphic communication skills and an ability to distill complex ideas into compelling visuals.u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills.u2022 Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.u2022 Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning, growing, and contributing to diverse project types.Ideally, Youu2019ll Also Haveu2022 Working knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) for mapping and spatial analysis.u2022 Understanding of sustainable design frameworks such as:o SITESo LEEDo Low Impact Development (LID) strategiesu2022 Internship or studio experience in planning, landscape design, or urban design.u2022 Strong hand-sketching or rapid-ideation abilitiesJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
