All levels of experience and education will be considered for this role. Description Shift: PRN. Varied hours. Call and holiday rotations required. + Provides quality care to the patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. + Assumes responsibility and provides direct quality care for patients receiving Nuclear Medicine and PET exams. + Responsible for proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment as well as keeps abreast of uses of medical devices. + Explains procedures to patients to reduce their anxiety and obtain patient cooperation. + Assists with patient/family education. + Performs efficiently in emergency situations. + Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic procedures. + Responsible for acquiring, processing and photographing optimum exams for diagnostic interpretation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology, be registered in Nuclear Medicine with the ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). + Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience. + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
