Chemical Mixer / Technician

Chemical Technician Pay Rate- $25/hour 3rd shift - Sun-Thurs - 10:30pm-07:00am Plant location: Eagan, MN _MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MIXING IN THE MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION INDUSTRY_ What You Will Do: u2022 Review daily mix schedules and ensures the raw materials required are available u2022 Follow mix instructions and accurately adds raw materials to the mixes manually, using pumps or mixing systems u2022 Mix batches using variable agitation u2022 Perform routine observation of product during the mixing and filling process to ensure batch quality. Report any out-of-spec raw material, premixes or mixed batches and consults with Quality personnel on any batch adjustments. u2022 Properly cleans out all mix tanks u2022 Operate fork trucks, palletizers, scales, pumps and other material handling equipment to transport raw material and finished product u2022 Perform building and equipment preventative maintenance u2022 Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: u2022 High School diploma or GED u2022 Ability to understand systems, pumps, read meters, basic Quality Control data and to track mixing and quality information (mix logs, batch adjustments, etc.) u2022 Ability to perform basic Quality Control tests (take samples, perform pH tests) u2022 Experience simultaneously mixing several tanks and accurately completing related documents u2022 Ability to read and match numbers on shipping records, labels, raw materials and finished goods u2022 No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity Physical Demands: u2022 Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs u2022 Must be able to participate in respirator fitness, if required Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Previous experience working in a chemical and/or manufacturing environment u2022 Basic knowledge of chemistry u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment u2022 Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask u2022 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team If this is a role that interests you and youu2019d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
