Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Buyer II Location: Plymouth, MN Pay Range: $37/hr on w2 Application link - What's the Job? + Manage purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. + Evaluate vendor quotes and services to identify the most desirable suppliers. + Review pricing, lead times, and issue purchase orders within ERP systems such as SAP. + Monitor inventory levels, address invoice issues, and participate in weekly status reviews. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support raw materials, electronics, plastic tubing, labels, and more. What's Needed? + Minimum of 2-3+ years of direct materials purchasing experience. + Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards. + Proficiency in MS Office applications. + High School diploma required; BS degree preferred. + Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
