The Lockheed Martin Space team in Littleton, CO (Deer Creek) seeks a level 2 Program Planner to support the Conventional Prompt Strike Program within its Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business that will have the size and scope to offer valuable career development experiences. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you willu2026. u2022 Serve as the responsible Planner for a specific IPT on the program u2022 Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in order to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner u2022 Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting goals u2022 Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues that arise, communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable program partners u2022 Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to the implementation of the Program u2022 Schedule presentations which may include Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Stakeholders u2022 Establish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management u2022 Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements. u2022 Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule. u2022 Producing and Delivering IPMR CDRLs (Integrated Program Management Report and Contract Deliverable Requirements List) #LMSpaceProgramPlanners Basic Qualifications: u2022 1-2 years of previous planning/scheduling experience such as event planning, logistical planning, construction planning, education planning, etc. u2022 Experience with a planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, Milestone Pro, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel, Power Point, Word or other comparable software) u2022 Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, and program start-up activities u2022 Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management techniques u2022 Experience delivering briefings to team members and project teams u2022 Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance Desired Skills: u2022 Bachelor's degree u2022 Active Secret clearance u2022 3+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline within the aerospace/defense industry u2022 Exposure to Network scheduling software (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc) u2022 Critical Path Scheduling methodology u2022 Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance u2022 Integrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledge u2022 Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations u2022 Earned Value Management u2022 Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development Proposal knowledge u2022 Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA u2022 Exposure to Schedule Risk Assessment process/software u2022 Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques and develop meaningful relationships u2022 Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving ability - - - To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters a work environment that encourages big-picture thinking. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
