Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Bridgeport, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in assisting customers, managing inquiries, and ensuring smooth order processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: u2022 Respond to inbound customer calls and address inquiries with attention to detail and in a timely manner. u2022 Process customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. u2022 Schedule repair work and communicate with mechanics and vendors as needed. u2022 Handle purchase orders, manage vendor communications, and oversee tow arrangements. u2022 Close repair orders efficiently while maintaining clear records. u2022 Utilize internal systems effectively, adapting quickly to the company's software. u2022 Provide consistent updates to customers regarding their orders or service requests. u2022 Ensure all interactions align with company policies and customer service standards. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in a call center, service technical or order entry environment. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. u2022 Proficiency with computer systems and adaptability to new software. u2022 Self-motivated and capable of working independently. u2022 Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service. u2022 Familiarity with vendor management and purchase order processes is a plus. u2022 Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
