Location: Parsippany, NJ (ONSITE OPPORTUNITY) We are seeking a Site Support Technician responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT service management processes ensuring seamless incident management and providing support for end-user tools. You will work in a hybrid model focusing on Macintosh OS X and Windows systems contributing to the companyu2019s efficiency and enhancing user experience. In this role, you will: u00b7 Provide hardware/software support services to onsite client including break/fix u00b7 Deskside Support - Break/fix, PC staging, asset management, software installation, PC troubleshooting, printer support, process remedy ticket request, compliance tasks, account management, and provide end support to end users u00b7 Implement virus detection and eradication procedures u00b7 Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions u00b7 Troubleshoot network devices in order to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network u00b7 Provide hardware/software support services to onsite client including break/fix u00b7 Implement virus detection and eradication procedures u00b7 Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions u00b7 Troubleshoot network devices in order to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network What youu2019ll need to succeed (required skills): u00b7 Technical degree or equivalent end-user supporting experience u00b7 Experience with Deskside and basic troubleshooting skills including hardware, software, printing, networking, file shares, etc. u00b7 Knowledgeable in MAC and IOS Systems, Windows 7 and 10 experience - ability to resolve Windows 7/10 and MAC Operating System Issues and Errors u00b7 Proficient in the latest Microsoft Office Applications (Office 365) u00b7 ServiceNow or related ITSM ticketing tool experience u00b7 Printer and scanner support u00b7 Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory u00b7 Experience with computer asset tracking and user ID creation u00b7 Some experience with support and administration of network phones (VoIP system). u00b7 Understanding of Symantec Virus Scan software u00b7 Ability lift up to 50 lbs. when moving electronic equipment u00b7 Fluent in both Spanish and English Compensation : Annual compensation of $59,500 is being offered for this role. Position will be posted until Feb 25th. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
