Description We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to oversee the financial and accounting operations of our manufacturing facilities. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic application of financial data while driving profitability and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership and operations teams to support informed decision-making and long-term business goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop, implement, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across multiple facilities. u2022 Deliver insightful financial analysis to guide operational and strategic decisions. u2022 Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes with precision and timeliness. u2022 Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses. u2022 Coordinate tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance in partnership with external accountants. u2022 Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local tax requirements while maximizing financial benefits from incentives and credits. u2022 Lead annual budgeting and forecasting efforts, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals. u2022 Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and propose actionable solutions to address discrepancies. u2022 Support cost control initiatives aimed at improving cash flow and overall profitability. u2022 Partner with leadership to align financial practices with company objectives and growth strategies. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles within manufacturing. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes and preparation of financial reports. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. u2022 Strong ability to manage costing and budget analysis effectively. u2022 Experience in tax compliance and coordination with external auditors. u2022 Proven track record in implementing and maintaining internal controls. u2022 Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams and departments. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
