Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description Maintenance Technicians are responsible for a variety of activities to ensure plant equipment and facilities remain in optimal operating condition. This includes performing scheduled preventative maintenance and addressing emergency breakdowns as they arise. Responsibilities + Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. + Conduct emergency and breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations. + Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature for guidance. + Accurately use measurement and test equipment. + Perform repairs and installations on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam systems, and more. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation. + Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. + Experience with servo-driven and steam systems (boilers). + Well-rounded skills in electrical, mechanical, and machine shop environments. + Capability to accurately use and read various measuring devices. + Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions and ask questions. The facility is non-climate controlled, meaning it will be warm in spring and summer and cool in fall and winter. Technicians work in teams of two, combining mechanical and electrical expertise.
