Quality Control Inspector

A local steel manufacturing company is hiring a Quality Control Inspector! Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional who takes pride in accuracy and quality workmanship. Job Responsibilities: Inspect machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications Interpret and follow written inspection instructions and customer specifications Measure dimensions using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures Locate reference points and measure angles/degrees with precision tools Inspect first run, in-process, and final parts Review blueprints and engineering drawings Document inspection findings and complete required reports Identify causes of product defects and recommend improvements Ensure all measurement equipment is properly calibrated Qualifications & Skills: Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations Willingness to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment Effective communication skills Education & Experience: High School Diploma 2+ years of Quality Control, Manufacturing, or Quality Inspection experience preferred Experience using precision measuring instruments preferred Must pass all pre-employment screenings Must be able to bend and stand on feet for up to 10-12 hours, as needed Benefits Upon Hire: 401(k) with Company Match Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Health Savings Account with Company Match Life Insurance Paid Time Off Come by Express - 701 E Main St Ste 18, Russellville, AR 72801 Call us at 479-967-7070 Or apply online at /russellvillear/ today!
