Job Title: A&P Mechanic Job Description Join a dynamic team at a leading aircraft maintenance company, where you will perform essential maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircrafts, both on-site and during AOG rotations. Responsibilities + Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircrafts in the hangar and during on-the-road AOG rotations. + Float to various company locations as needed, working on commercial and general aviation aircraft. + Participate in weekly on-call/AOG rotation and be available for AOG calls when not on call. + Handle project management responsibilities, providing updates to relevant parties on maintenance status. + Engage with passengers, aircraft owners, maintenance control teams, and other stakeholders during aircraft servicing. Essential Skills + A&P certification. + 3+ years of experience, with AOG experience strongly preferred. + Proficiency in communication with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers. + Strong verbal and written communication skills for providing project updates and troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with corporate/private airframes is strongly preferred. + Familiarity with Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream Fast, Jet East, Net Jets, Flex Jet is advantageous. + Documentation skills exceeding standard logbooks, capable of narrating project stories through documentation. Work Environment Candidates must be flexible to work any day of the week, with a set schedule that may include weekends and overtime. The work involves a weekly 7 on/7 off on-call rotation for travel, weekend work, and after-hours service. When not on call, standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility as needed. The role involves travel within a 300-mile radius and requires teamwork during AOG calls. The facility is non-climate controlled and emphasizes quality and efficient return-to-service times.
