Front Desk Patient Services Coordinator Experience Level: Intermediate Overview We are seeking an organized, personable, and customeru2011focused Front Desk Patient Services Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. In this role, you will create a welcoming environment, efficiently manage patient flow, and support daily administrative operations that keep our clinic running smoothly. Key Responsibilities + Greet and direct patients, visitors, and clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience. + Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond promptly to patient inquiries or concerns by connecting them with the appropriate staff. + Monitor patient flow throughout the day and notify the Operations Director or Assistant Director of any delays or concerns. + Alert dental assistant staff when patients arrive for their scheduled appointments. + Provide administrative support including: + Preparing, editing, and formatting documents in Microsoft Word and Excel + Managing meeting room schedules + Sorting and distributing incoming mail + Completing filing and general office duties as assigned + Assist in managing the flow of a highu2011volume environment (up to 250 visitors daily). Required Skills & Qualifications + Strong administrative skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite + Excellent customer service and communication abilities + Experience with dental or medical reception preferred + Understanding of dental insurance is a plus + Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy, fastu2011paced environment + Enjoys working faceu2011tou2011face with the public and supporting patientsu2019 needs Top Skills + Administration + Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Customer service excellence Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
