Calibration Technician-1st Shift

Description: You will be a Calibration Technician supporting our Lockheed Martin Greenville Site. Our team is responsible for performing calibration and adjustments on Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).such as, but not limited to: oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, power supplies, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, digital voltmeters, AC/DC Standards, power meters & sensors, digital multimeters, and electrical test sets, physical/dimensional equipment and hand tools. What You Will Be Doing The Calibration Technician will Use calibration procedures, manufacturersu2019 manuals and specifications and data sheets to accomplish work. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of calibration lab safety, be a team player, and be quality minded. Candidate must be able to periodically lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Candidate must have 3 years of relevant calibration or metrology experience or successful completion of a basic DoD Calibration School. u2022 Candidate must have recent hands-on laboratory environment calibration experience within the last 5 years. u2022 Experience with electrical theory, hydraulics/pneumatics, and torque. u2022 Experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment. u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Desired Skills: u2022 Military PMEL/TMDE training u2022 3+ year experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment u2022 Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment u2022 Demonstrate knowledge of regulations such as NIST,ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110 or ANSI Z540.1, etc. u2022 Experience with MS Word, Excel Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
