A Senior Professional position applies advanced knowledge of a job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Responsibilities u2022 Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision. u2022 Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals. u2022 Supports continuous improvement/automation activities. u2022 Designs equipment and processes to ensure most efficient and productive operations. u2022 Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for preparing materials and operating equipment u2022 Determines process design by balancing process cost, yield, and material waste considerations u2022 Conducts tests throughout all stages of processing to determine control over applicable variables and prevents/solves process problems u2022 Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bacheloru2019s degree; or 3 years and a masteru2019s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience At Bridgestone, you are Free to Be We believe people can only provide superior service and quality to others when they bring their whole self to work.
